IperionX Limited announced on April 8, 2025, the commencement of a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for its Titan Critical Minerals Project in Tennessee. This project holds the largest JORC-compliant mineral resource of titanium, rare earth, and zircon mineral sands in the United States.

The DFS is partly funded by an allocation from IperionX’s recent U.S. Government award of US$47.1 million, highlighting the strategic significance of the Titan Project. This study marks a major step in advancing the project towards production, with completion expected by Q2 2026.

The Titan Project is positioned to supply low-cost, domestic critical mineral feedstocks for future large-scale expansions of IperionX’s titanium production. It also hosts significant quantities of light and heavy rare earth elements vital for advanced technologies and defense systems, enhancing the resilience of the U.S. titanium supply chain.
