iQIYI participated in the first China TV Drama Production Industry Conference, where CEO Yu Gong emphasized a 'viewer-centric approach' and the company's 'long + short' content strategy. This strategy includes serialized long-form dramas, premium short-form content, and industrialized mini-dramas, alongside technological innovations to enhance production capabilities.

The company's mini-drama portfolio now surpasses 10,000 titles, capturing 95% of leading mini-drama content providers in the market. iQIYI achieved a significant milestone in December 2024 when its first mini-drama generated over RMB 1 million (US$0.14 million) in revenue-sharing income. The iQIYI Lite app has been repositioned to primarily feature free mini-dramas supported by advertising, with mini-drama viewing time on the main app now rivaling other popular content categories.

iQIYI highlighted advancements in virtual production technology, which have been implemented across its long-form dramas. For example, 'My Journey to You' achieved a 30% increase in production efficiency through virtual filming, while 'Fangs of Fortune' pioneered large-scale water surface reflection in virtual filming in China. The company has invested in infrastructure, including a 2,500-square-meter flagship virtual studio, and its self-developed IQ Stage virtual production platform integrates over 20 patented technologies to deliver enhanced visual experiences.
