On November 12, iQIYI introduced its Standard VIP Family and Friends membership service in Chinese mainland, allowing Standard VIP members to add a separate account at a discounted price. This new offering provides full access to iQIYI's extensive content library, aiming to offer an affordable way for families and friends to enjoy premium content together.
Under this new offering, Standard VIP members can add an additional account for RMB8 (US$1.1) per month, while the main account subscription is available for RMB25 (US$3.5), bringing the total cost for both accounts to RMB33 (US$4.6). Each account operates independently with its own passwords, watch history, and tailored recommendations, supporting login on up to five devices.
VIP members gain exclusive benefits, including early access to drama series like 'Fangs of Fortune' and 'To the Wonder,' as well as access to iQIYI's new 'Micro-Drama Theater' and 'Short-Drama Theater.' This initiative reflects iQIYI's commitment to expanding its content library and delivering high-quality content that resonates with diverse audiences, while enhancing subscription flexibility.
