Jack in the Box announced on September 16, 2025, a strategic shift to deliver more value to its customers, effective October 1. The company will bring back bigger cup sizes, providing guests with 25% more ounces in every soda.
Alongside the larger cups, Jack in the Box will implement lower prices across its drive-thru menu boards, resulting in 61% of Jack combos being priced under $10 in a majority of its markets. This move is a direct response to 'shrinkflation' and aims to give consumers more for their money.
Ryan Ostrom, EVP, Chief Customer & Digital Officer, stated that this initiative is the latest step in fighting shrinkflation and will be a continuing strategy for future menu offerings. This customer-first approach is designed to enhance value perception, drive traffic, and set the stage for the brand's 75th anniversary celebrations.
