The company has nearly three decades of experience providing development and manufacturing services to pharmaceutical clients.
This acquisition significantly enhances Jabil's pharmaceutical solutions offering, adding critical capabilities in aseptic filling and dry oral dosage manufacturing. Pii's expertise in complex formulations and its long-standing client relationships open up a substantial $20 billion addressable market for Jabil within the Regulated Industries segment.
The integration of Pii complements Jabil's existing strengths in medical devices and drug delivery systems, such as autoinjectors. This strategic move is expected to contribute to Jabil's long-term margin and cash flow, as healthcare programs typically feature long product life cycles and stable returns once qualified.
