JBS announced on July 10, 2025, an investment of over US$ 7 million in cattle traceability and support for small producers in Pará, Brazil. This initiative is part of a pioneering state program designed to trace the entire herd of cattle and buffaloes in the region by the end of 2026.

A significant portion of this investment, US$ 5 million, is allocated to JBS's Traceability Accelerator Program. This program aims to encourage the adoption of tags for animal traceability among the company's indirect suppliers, including the donation of 2 million ear tags to producers and 175 readers to the Pará State Agricultural Defense Agency.

Additionally, JBS has allocated US$ 2 million to its Green Offices program since 2021, which offers free and specialized support for the environmental regularization of rural properties, focusing on small producers. These efforts are crucial for ensuring sustainable livestock practices and enhancing supply chain transparency in the Amazon region.
