Jumia Reports Strong Preliminary KPIs for November 2024, Driven by Black Friday Success

Jumia Technologies AG announced preliminary unaudited results for selected Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the two months ended November 30, 2024, on December 5, 2024. The report included the performance of its annual Black Friday event.

Orders totaled 4.3 million for the two-month period, representing an 18% increase year-over-year, excluding results from South Africa and Tunisia. Physical goods orders grew 17% to 3.9 million, with 2.5 million physical goods orders placed during Jumia's Black Friday event.

Total active customers increased by 9% year-over-year, and Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) was up 33% compared to the prior-year period. These results indicate encouraging momentum in Jumia's core markets following its announced exits from non-strategic regions.
