Jayud Global Logistics has secured dedicated air cargo capacity on the Zhengzhou‑Chicago route through a one‑year Block Space Agreement that takes effect on January 17, 2026. The agreement provides the company with approximately 16,800 kilograms of cargo space each week on Boeing 747‑400F freighter flights that operate three times weekly between Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

The new capacity is projected to generate about 68 million RMB (US$9.8 million) in revenue and roughly 3.8 million RMB (US$0.55 million) in profit over the year. For a company that reported a net loss and declining revenue in its most recent fiscal year, the agreement represents a meaningful, though modest, addition to its top‑line and bottom‑line.

The cargo will be used primarily for cross‑border e‑commerce merchandise (customs code 9610) and compliant lithium‑battery devices, aligning with Jayud’s strategy to capture a larger share of the high‑growth cross‑border logistics market and diversify its revenue mix beyond its bonded zone and warehouse network.

CEO Xiaogang Geng said the agreement “represents an important expansion of our cross‑border logistics capabilities, providing our customers with direct air freight access between Central China and the U.S. Midwest.” The move gives Jayud a direct link to one of the world’s largest cargo hubs, strengthening its competitive position in a highly contested market.

Despite the positive outlook of the new agreement, Jayud’s recent financial performance has been challenging, with a net loss in fiscal 2024 and declining revenue. Analysts maintain a negative consensus rating, reflecting concerns about the company’s broader profitability. The new capacity agreement is a step toward stabilizing revenue, but investors will likely view it as a modest improvement amid ongoing headwinds.
