Kyndryl announced the extension of its long-standing relationship with Hamburg Commercial Bank AG (HCOB), a private commercial bank in Germany. Under this renewed agreement, Kyndryl Consult will serve as a strategic advisor to HCOB in transforming its existing cloud infrastructure.
The partnership will focus on enhancing flexibility, transparency, and service quality, while also ensuring HCOB's operational resilience and regulatory alignment through modern, scalable IT services with advanced security capabilities. Kyndryl will redesign HCOB's cloud infrastructure and implement an overall backup solution.
Kai Grunwitz, President, Kyndryl Germany, stated that this contract extension reflects Hamburg Commercial Bank's trust in Kyndryl and its clear goal of advancing the bank in digital transformation and regulatory resilience. Kyndryl will also deliver ongoing support for Microsoft Azure workloads and Microsoft 365 environments, managing services across cloud, network, and security domains.
