Kyndryl unveiled new advisory and implementation services designed to accelerate the modernization and migration of mainframe applications and data to Amazon Web Services (AWS). These services tap into the agentic AI capabilities of AWS Transform.
Kyndryl has been certified by AWS as an Elite Launch Partner for its new AWS Transform for Mainframe solution. This certification makes it easier for enterprises to integrate or move mainframe applications to the AWS Cloud platform by leveraging automated agentic AI capabilities.
Hassan Zamat, Global Practice Leader for Core Enterprise & zCloud at Kyndryl, stated that these new services will support and speed mainframe modernization journeys by dramatically reducing migration and transformation project timeframes. Kyndryl projects that applying AWS Transform to large-scale projects could reduce timelines by approximately one-third.
