Kforce Inc. announced second-quarter 2025 revenues of $334.3 million and diluted earnings per share of $0.59. The company achieved sequential Flex revenue growth in both its Technology business, up 1.8% on a GAAP basis, and its Finance and Accounting business, which grew 2.1% on a GAAP basis. These results were largely consistent with expectations, despite a prolonged period of macroeconomic uncertainty.
However, year-over-year comparisons showed declines, with total revenue decreasing 6.2% and diluted EPS falling 21.3% compared to the second quarter of 2024. Gross profit margin for the quarter was 27.1%, a slight increase from the previous quarter, and GAAP operating margin improved to 4.5%. Free cash flow for the first six months of 2025 was $10.3 million, a decrease from $29.1 million in the same period of 2024.
For the third quarter of 2025, Kforce provided guidance expecting revenues between $324 million and $332 million, and diluted earnings per share in the range of $0.53 to $0.61. Management noted that third-quarter guidance was affected by client-specific dynamics at the close of Q2, which are not considered indicative of a worsening demand environment.
