Kraft Heinz announced today that L. Kevin Cox, Mary Lou Kelley, and Tony Palmer have been appointed to its Board of Directors, with the appointments taking effect on October 22, 2025. The new directors join a board that is already steering the company through a strategic transformation toward two industry‑leading entities.

Cox brings more than three decades of human resources leadership, having served as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at GE and as Chief Human Resources Officer at American Express. Kelley, a veteran of retail and e‑commerce, previously led Best Buy’s e‑commerce division and has extensive experience in digital strategy and retail operations. Palmer, a seasoned consumer‑packaged goods executive, has led product innovation and marketing at Kimberly‑Clark, Kellogg, and The Coca‑Cola Company.

While the addition of these directors does not immediately alter the company’s financials, it expands the board’s expertise in talent management, retail technology, and product innovation—areas critical to Kraft Heinz’s ongoing turnaround and growth initiatives. The appointments signal the company’s intent to strengthen governance and bring fresh perspectives to its strategic planning process.
