Nextdoor announced a strategic partnership with Integral Ad Science (IAS) on May 9, 2025, a global media measurement and optimization platform. IAS will now power Nextdoor's first-party brand safety tool, providing pre-bid Brand Safety and Suitability Optimization on the platform. This ensures advertisers that their impressions are delivered to brand-suitable ad adjacencies. The partnership leverages IAS's AI-driven Multimedia Technology to offer advertisers an additional layer of third-party transparency and suitability for their Nextdoor campaigns. Advertisers with managed accounts can now run ads on Nextdoor's Newsfeed, reaching one-third of U.S. households, with confidence in brand-safe environments based on industry-aligned standards. This collaboration represents a major step in bringing deeper trust and control for advertisers on Nextdoor, combining IAS's technology with Nextdoor's content moderation capabilities. Nextdoor's Chief Revenue Officer, Michael Kiernan, emphasized that trust and community are essential for advertising on the platform.
