Kamada Ltd. announced the expansion of its plasma collection operations with the opening of a third plasma collection center in San Antonio, Texas. The new 11,100 square foot facility, operated by Kamada Plasma, is designed to support close to 50 donor beds.

The San Antonio center has an estimated total collection capacity of approximately 50,000 liters annually. This expansion is expected to contribute annual revenues of $8 million to $10 million from sales of normal source plasma once operating at full capacity.

The new center will collect both normal source plasma for sale to third parties and specialty plasma, such as Anti-Rabies and Anti-D, for Kamada's internal use. Kamada intends to submit approval applications for the site to the U.S. FDA and the European Medicines Agency during the second half of 2025, anticipating decisions within 9-12 months of submission.
