ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC announced on May 13, 2025, that its managed fund completed the acquisition of a 25% interest in Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America (NGPL). This transaction makes ArcLight the largest owner of NGPL.
As a result of the acquisition, ArcLight now holds a 62.5% economic ownership interest in NGPL, alongside its strategic partner Kinder Morgan, Inc. Kinder Morgan continues to own a 37.5% economic interest and maintains its role as the operator of NGPL.
NGPL is one of the largest interstate pipeline systems in the country, spanning nine states and supplying critical power and heating markets. It also serves liquefied natural gas facilities in Texas and Louisiana, providing essential energy infrastructure.
