Kinder Morgan Inc. reported on January 10, 2025, that two of its fuel pipelines, SFPP West and CALNEV, had been shut down since January 8 due to power outages in Southern California. The outages were a result of ongoing wildfires in the region.

On January 9, the pipelines remained shut as wildfires continued to blaze, impacting operations. This disruption affected the transportation of refined products in the area.

By January 10, power was restored to the Los Angeles origin pipelines and the Colton Terminal, allowing for the resumption of operations. The quick resolution limited the overall impact of the shutdown.
