Kopin Corporation announced that Get Your Way, a Belgian-based startup, has selected Kopin’s Golden Pearl optical module for its aRdent 2 assisted reality solution. The aRdent 2 device is designed to enhance industrial operations by providing hands-free information display for workers.
Kopin’s Golden Pearl is a compact, low-power optical module that integrates an Active-Matrix Liquid Crystal (AMLCD) display with WVGA (854 x 480) resolution, an efficient waveguide backlight, and curved prism optics. It delivers a bright, full-color image with a 20° field of view.
This design win expands Kopin's presence in the industrial wearables market, building on its history of selling over 100,000 Pearl Optical Modules for smart glasses. The partnership enables Get Your Way to accelerate its time-to-market by utilizing Kopin’s ready-to-go optical modules.
