The new model centralizes all store technology operations, including registers, handheld devices, WiFi, and digital signage, into a private cloud. This eliminates legacy in-store infrastructure, leading to improved reliability and speed to market.
This shift enables real-time data feeds to stores, allowing for software changes without disrupting operations and supporting the deployment of new tools. The company expects this to enhance the in-store experience for both customers and associates.
