On May 20, 2025, Apollo Silver Corp. announced the acquisition of 2,215 hectares of highly prospective claims at its Calico Silver Project in California. These claims were acquired from LAC Exploration LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lithium Americas Corp. The newly acquired claims, referred to as the Mule claims, comprise 415 lode mining claims contiguous to Apollo Silver's Waterloo property. This transaction expands Apollo Silver's land package by over 285% at the Calico Project. This divestiture by Lithium Americas' subsidiary indicates a potential streamlining of its asset portfolio, allowing for a more concentrated focus on its primary Thacker Pass lithium project. Specific financial terms of the transaction for Lithium Americas were not disclosed.
