Liberty Energy and AltitudeX Aviation Group, LLC announced a strategic alliance on June 26, 2025, for the development of a state-of-the-art microgrid in Adams County, Colorado. This collaboration aims to support the expansion of a new aviation and aerospace-focused industrial complex at the Colorado Air & Space Port (CASP).
The proposed power facility, to be developed by Liberty, will utilize a modular, scalable, low-emission power generation system fueled by natural gas. It is designed to initially deliver 45 MW of electric power, with the capacity to scale in line with future development and demand at CASP.
Ron Gusek, CEO of Liberty, highlighted that the advanced microgrid technology can deliver critical energy infrastructure necessary for aerospace innovation. This partnership provides resilient, on-site power generation, ensuring reliable energy access essential for growth at CASP.
