Liberty Star Minerals completed its first-ever diamond core drill program at the Hay Mountain Project by February 2024. Two deep drill holes were finished, specifically targeting an interpreted porphyry system within the property.
Chief Geologist James Bryce reported that Hole HM-23-2 encountered alteration and mineralization associated with a copper porphyry system. This finding is a significant geological indicator, confirming key geological features that validate Hay Mountain’s potential as a porphyry copper-gold deposit.
The initial drill program results provided sufficient evidence to justify further deep drilling. This will focus on Target 1 and additional high-priority areas within the project, advancing the understanding of the deposit's scope and potential.
