Liberty Star Minerals announced promising high-grade gold assay results from its ongoing channel sampling program at the Red Rock Canyon Gold Project. These latest findings reinforce the potential of the area as a significant source of near-surface gold mineralization.
Notable results include a standout sample registering 85.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from a one-foot wide channel, which is among the highest grades recorded in the area to date. Additional assays include 38.3 g/t Au from a jasperoid breccia, and a 14-foot-long channel sample with a weighted average of 0.9 g/t Au over 10 feet, with individual samples reaching up to 1.74 g/t Au.
These high-grade gold results suggest that the mineralization at Red Rock Canyon is extensive and presents a compelling drill target. The channel samples are critical in delineating the near-surface gold resource and will guide future drilling initiatives.
