Virgin Media O2 Forms £1.4 Billion Business Telecoms Joint Venture with Daisy Group

Virgin Media O2, a joint venture between Liberty Global and Telefonica, announced on May 12, 2025, the creation of a new business-to-business company. This new entity will combine VMO2's enterprise unit with IT and telecoms provider Daisy Group.

The new company is projected to have £1.4 billion ($1.9 billion) in pro forma revenues. Virgin Media O2 will hold a 70% majority stake, with Daisy Group owning the remaining 30%. The deal is expected to close in early H2 2025.

This strategic tie-up aims to offer a broader range of products and services to customers, from single traders to large public and private organizations. The move positions VMO2 for enhanced growth in the competitive UK enterprise market.
