Centrus Energy Corp. announced on February 4, 2025, that it signed an agreement with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP), definitizing $0.8 billion of its contingent LEU sales commitments. These commitments were previously subject to contract finalization as of December 31, 2024.

This agreement converts a substantial portion of Centrus's previously contingent backlog into definitive agreements for future Low-Enriched Uranium (LEU) deliveries. The commitments support the potential construction of LEU production capacity at the Piketon, Ohio facility.

The definitization of these sales commitments strengthens Centrus's backlog and provides greater certainty regarding future revenue streams. This also reflects strong customer confidence in Centrus's ability to expand its domestic enrichment capabilities and meet global demand for nuclear fuel.
