Snow Lake Resources Ltd. announced a cornerstone investment in GTi Energy Ltd. to advance the Lo Herma uranium project, located in Wyoming's prolific Powder River Basin. This strategic investment expands Snow Lake's presence in a leading U.S. uranium-producing region.
The Lo Herma project is contiguous to Snow Lake's Pine Ridge Uranium Project and has a positive scoping study that contemplates an In-Situ Recovery (ISR) operation. The study projected a 7-year mine life with an annual production target of 800,000 pounds of U3O8.
The scoping study also indicated an NPV of A$100 million and a pre-tax Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 56% for the Lo Herma project. This investment aligns with Snow Lake's strategy to capitalize on increasing domestic demand for uranium and bolster U.S. energy security.
