Alliant Energy Corporation reported full-year 2024 GAAP earnings per share (EPS) of $2.69, compared to $2.78 in 2023. Non-GAAP EPS for 2024 was $3.04, an increase from $2.82 in 2023. The company completed 1,500 megawatts of solar generation investments in 2024, strengthening its clean energy portfolio alongside existing wind resources. The Utilities and Corporate Services segment's GAAP EPS for 2024 was $2.81, a decrease of $0.05 per share from 2023, primarily due to non-GAAP adjustments, higher depreciation and financing expenses, and estimated temperature impacts. These were partially offset by higher revenue requirements from capital investments, including a $0.21 per share increase from IPL's Iowa Utilities Commission rate order and a $0.47 per share increase from WPL's Public Service Commission of Wisconsin rate order. Alliant Energy reaffirmed its 2025 EPS guidance range of $3.15 - $3.25 per share and maintained its 2025 annual common stock dividend target of $2.03 per share, representing a 6% increase over 2024. The company also highlighted an agreement in principle for a new data center in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, and confirmed the largest economic development investment in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, underscoring its focus on economic development and load growth.
