Lead Real Estate Co., Ltd. named Ken Takahashi as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2026. Takahashi joins the company after senior finance roles at Fujimoto Holdings, PIP Co., and KPMG, and has led capital‑market initiatives and investment‑platform projects in those firms.

The CFO position had been vacant since former CFO Daisuke Takahashi resigned for personal reasons on December 3, 2025. Takahashi’s appointment follows a period of intensified focus on disciplined capital allocation and stronger engagement with capital markets, a strategy the company says is essential for its next growth phase.

President and CEO Eiji Nagahara said the company is entering a new phase where “disciplined capital allocation, financial transparency, and effective engagement with capital markets are more important than ever.” Takahashi’s global perspective and track record at large corporate groups are viewed as the right fit to support that strategy.

Financially, Lead Real Estate reported a gross margin of 19.8% for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025, up from 15.6% a year earlier. Total revenue slipped 0.6% year‑over‑year, a decline largely attributable to softer demand in the luxury residential segment, while higher‑margin hotel transactions helped lift the overall margin. The company’s master‑lease hotel business and the award‑winning “ENT TERRACE GINZA PREMIUM” hotel underscore the growing importance of its hospitality operations.

Segment performance highlights that luxury residential development remains a core revenue driver, but the hotel arm is expanding faster, contributing a larger share of profit due to its higher operating leverage. The company’s focus on capital‑market engagement is aimed at monetizing this high‑margin segment while maintaining a healthy balance sheet, reflected in a current ratio of 1.34 and a debt‑to‑equity ratio of 2.58.

Ken Takahashi said he is honored to serve as CFO and will work with the leadership team to strengthen the company’s financial foundation and accelerate sustainable value creation for stakeholders.
