This facility is recognized as the world’s largest new Class 4 DC-powered installation.
The Lantronix PoE++ switches are a vital component of the PoE lighting installation, which contributed to Mouser winning an IBCon 2024 Digie Award for the Most Intelligent DC-Powered Building. The technology distributes power and controls using low-voltage DC, creating a sustainable building that reduces energy costs and carbon footprint.
Within the facility, Lantronix SM24TBT2DPB-DE switches deliver up to 90W of PoE++ power per port to lighting fixtures, occupancy sensors, and other PoE-enabled endpoints. This all-DC-powered PoE lighting solution reduces Mouser’s carbon footprint while improving lighting control and operational costs, offering scalability and flexibility for future device changes.
