Lumen Technologies announced a partnership with Prometheus Hyperscale to provide connectivity for its energy-efficient data centers, addressing the increasing demands of AI data. Prometheus Hyperscale is known for pioneering sustainability in the hyperscale data center industry.
Lumen will deploy its Private Connectivity Fabric℠ solution, which includes new network routes built with next-generation wavelength services and Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) with Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection. This infrastructure will support high-density compute in Prometheus facilities.
The partnership will cover Prometheus' flagship facility in Wyoming and four future data centers in the western U.S., providing low-latency, high-performance infrastructure critical for AI workloads. This collaboration reinforces Lumen's commitment to supporting AI innovation while aligning with sustainability goals.
