ManpowerGroup released its inaugural Global Talent Barometer on November 12, 2024, a new tool offering insights into workforce sentiment across 16 countries. The overall Global Talent Barometer score was 67%, derived from three key indices: Well-Being (64%), Job Satisfaction (63%), and Confidence (74%). The survey, which gathered data from over 12,000 workers between April 15 and May 10, 2024, revealed that 80% of workers find meaning in their roles, yet one in three are considering leaving their current positions. This highlights a complex landscape of employee expectations. Becky Frankiewicz, ManpowerGroup Chief Commercial Officer, noted that employees are seeking more than just a paycheck, including mental health support, work-life balance, career development, and skills training. The new indices provide employers with tools to understand employee sentiment and develop more effective talent management strategies.
