Mattel Appoints Paul Ruh as Chief Financial Officer

Mattel announced on May 8, 2025, the appointment of Paul Ruh as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective May 19, 2025. Ruh will succeed Anthony DiSilvestro, who previously announced his retirement and will serve as an advisor through August 15, 2025, to ensure a seamless transition.

Paul Ruh brings over 30 years of public company finance experience, having most recently served as CFO of Kenvue Inc., where he led its separation from Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc., including the IPO. His experience includes shaping strategy and capital allocation priorities for accelerated profitable growth.

In his new role, Ruh will oversee Mattel’s global finance organization, including financial planning and analysis, global shared services, real estate, internal audit, investor relations, tax, and treasury, as well as the company’s global technology organization. CEO Ynon Kreiz highlighted Ruh's track record in achieving operational excellence and driving strong performance for global consumer brands.
