Maxeon Solar Technologies, in collaboration with Hardt Electric, announced on September 30, 2025, the successful completion of a new solar energy installation at the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) headquarters in Glenview, Illinois. This project highlights Maxeon's continued presence in the commercial solar market.
The roof-mounted photovoltaic (PV) system, comprising over 560 highly efficient Maxeon solar panels, is projected to generate approximately 341,000 kWh annually. This output is expected to offset nearly 30% of the facility's electricity use, contributing to a reduction of about 242 metric tons of CO₂ emissions each year.
Maxeon's panels were selected for their industry-leading efficiency, durability, and a 40-year warranty, which are critical for long-term energy production and reliability. This installation supports CHEST's mission to advance lung health by reducing air pollution linked to respiratory conditions.
