Mobileye Global Inc. and VVDN Technologies Pvt. Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding to localize Mobileye’s next‑generation ADAS technology for Indian automakers and export‑ready platforms. The agreement will use Mobileye’s EyeQ family of chips and sensors, while VVDN will provide engineering, testing and production capabilities in India.

The partnership focuses on localizing key ADAS solutions built on the EyeQ platform and developing manufacturing readiness for the Indian market. The collaboration aims to accelerate time‑to‑market and enable customization for local OEMs, supporting India’s regulatory push for higher safety standards and the Atmanirbhar Bharat agenda.

Mobileye’s financial performance in recent quarters underscores the strategic importance of the partnership. In Q3 2023, the company reported revenue of $530 million, a 18 % year‑over‑year increase, and net income of $17 million, compared with a $45 million loss in Q3 2022. In Q3 2022, revenue was $450 million, up 38 % year‑over‑year. In Q2 2025, Mobileye raised its annual revenue guidance, reflecting stronger demand for its ADAS and autonomous driving solutions.

The MoU is not a transaction but a strategic alliance that positions Mobileye to tailor its advanced driver‑assist systems to the specific conditions of the Indian market, including unique traffic scenarios such as animals on the road. It also supports India’s “Make in India” initiative and positions the country as a potential export hub for ADAS technologies.

Mobileye has shipped over 200 million EyeQ system‑on‑chips worldwide, and VVDN Technologies is a leading Indian Tier 1 engineering and manufacturing services company with extensive R&D centers and production facilities. The partnership will leverage VVDN’s end‑to‑end product development capabilities to accelerate the deployment of Mobileye’s solutions in India.

Management comments highlight that the collaboration will help Mobileye meet local demand, reduce costs, and strengthen its presence in a rapidly expanding automotive sector that is adopting higher safety standards and electric vehicle sales.
