Mercury Insurance introduced an all-new personal umbrella insurance policy in Arizona on December 16, 2024, designed to provide additional protection against rising bodily injury claims.
The company noted that bodily injury payouts have climbed year over year since the pandemic, with the average amount for a liability claim increasing by 35%. This new policy offers bolstered coverages starting at less than $1.00 a day.
Arizona marks the fifth state where Mercury Insurance has launched this expanded umbrella insurance product, following its introduction in California, Texas, Oklahoma, and Illinois, demonstrating a strategic rollout to address growing liability risks.
