Mercer Mass Timber (MMT) has announced the full completion of mass timber panel installation for Walmart's new Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas. This project represents the largest mass timber corporate campus in the United States, showcasing MMT's capabilities in sustainable building materials.

Mercer Conway, a subsidiary, supplied a total of 21,000 cubic meters of cross-laminated timber (CLT) and glue-laminated timber (Glulam) for two major sections of the campus. This included four four-story hybrid mass timber buildings totaling 897,500 square feet and a single five-story building with 332,615 square feet built with full mass timber frames.

The successful completion of this installation phase, which began in Spring 2024, reinforces MMT's commitment to the region's economy by providing 58 local jobs. The project highlights mass timber's environmental benefits, including 25-40% lower carbon emissions compared to traditional materials and faster installation with prefabricated components.
