Mercer Mass Timber (MMT) has been selected to supply timber elements for Walmart's new Home Office campus in Bentonville, Arkansas, marking one of the largest solid timber projects in the USA. This project underscores the growing adoption of sustainable construction materials in major corporate developments.

MMT will provide materials for several building complexes, including four four-story buildings in Zone 1 with approximately 82,000 square meters of office space, and a single five-story building in Zone 3 with 30,600 square meters, built entirely from solid timber frames.

The use of solid timber contributes significantly to reducing the campus' carbon footprint, as timber is a renewable resource that absorbs carbon dioxide. The entire project is aiming for LEED Platinum certification, highlighting Walmart's commitment to environmentally friendly design and Mercer's role in supporting these sustainable practices.
