The design originated from a textile sample used for Paul Smith shirting, which was then reimagined as a woven upholstery in partnership with Maharam's design studio. The textile features a smooth surface with the subtle luster of worsted wool, recalling its origins in tailoring.
Each of the six colorways in the Banner Stripe collection contains twenty-two tones, arranged to create dynamic interplay across pairings such as turmeric and gold, or dusk and papaya. This launch reinforces MillerKnoll's strategy of leveraging its brand collective and design collaborations to introduce innovative and aesthetically rich products to the market.
