Maximus, Inc. has been awarded a Joint Cyber Command & Control (JCC2) Readiness contract from the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. The award carries a potential value of $86 million and represents the company’s second contract with the Air Force, following a $77 million cybersecurity services award in July 2025.

The contract includes a base year and four optional one‑year extensions, plus an additional six‑month extension option, giving Maximus the opportunity to deliver interoperability and innovative solutions for the Air Force’s cyber command and control systems over a multi‑year horizon. The multi‑year structure underscores the Air Force’s confidence in Maximus’s cyber capabilities and provides a predictable revenue stream for the company.

The award expands Maximus’s presence in the federal services segment, which grew 10.9% in Q2 FY2025 and 11.4% in Q3 FY2025. The new contract adds a potential $86 million of revenue that could be realized over the next several years, reinforcing the segment’s role as a key growth driver for the company’s overall revenue of $1.35 billion in Q3 FY2025.

Pamela Powers, Executive Managing Director of Defense and National Security Market, said the partnership will help the Air Force sustain its warfighter readiness through novel solutions and mission‑based outcomes. Derrick Pledger, Chief Digital & Information Officer, added that the work will expand Maximus’s technology portfolio in defense and highlight the company’s expertise in software engineering, modernization, and AI.

The contract aligns with Maximus’s broader strategy of investing in advanced technologies and modernizing critical government systems. The company has raised its full‑year FY2025 revenue guidance to $5.375 billion–$5.475 billion and adjusted diluted EPS to $7.35–$7.55, reflecting confidence in continued demand for federal services and the ability to capture additional margin through high‑value contracts such as this one.

With the Air Force’s renewed investment in cybersecurity, Maximus’s new contract positions the company to capture a growing share of the defense technology market while supporting national security initiatives. The multi‑year award strengthens the company’s financial outlook and demonstrates the effectiveness of its strategy to deepen its footprint in high‑stakes government programs.
