MSA Safety, Inc. has been awarded a multi-year contract valued at $33 million by the U.S. Coast Guard to supply new firefighter respiratory protective equipment. This 10-year agreement specifically covers the provision of MSA's G1 Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) to the operational surface fleet and surface support facilities. Initial orders under this contract, totaling approximately $22 million, were received by MSA Safety during the third quarter of 2024. The G1 SCBA platform is recognized for its innovative design and versatility, which allows for the integration of new technologies to enhance firefighter health and safety.
