M&T Bank announced on March 11, 2025, the launch of its fourth Small Business Accelerator Program in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The program, held in partnership with the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Harrisburg University, is designed to provide guidance and skills to up to 40 entrepreneurs.
The free, seven-week program will focus on essential business topics such as business planning, establishing credit, accessing capital, marketing, branding, and networking. It aims to help small business owners build strong businesses, spur economic growth in Harrisburg's Capitol Region, and build generational wealth.
The program, which begins on May 7, 2025, will conclude with a pitch competition offering grants totaling $10,000, with $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second, and $2,000 for third, all funded by M&T. Qualified applicants must complete an online application by April 12, 2025.
