Beaver Creek Resort and Crested Butte Mountain Resort commenced their 2024/25 winter seasons on November 27, 2024. Beaver Creek opened with 300 acres of terrain, including top-to-bottom skiing and 16 trails, while Crested Butte offered 77 acres serviced by three lifts.
Both resorts benefited from abundant natural snowfall in November and optimal snowmaking temperatures, allowing for a strong early-season terrain package. With these openings, all five of Vail Resorts' Colorado destinations on the Epic Pass are now operational for the winter.
The resorts are offering on-mountain and village dining options, and their ski and snowboard schools are open from day one. My Epic Gear, Mobile Pass, and Mobile Lift Ticket features are available to enhance the guest experience at these locations.
