Vail Resorts announced on May 22, 2025, that Mayrhofen and Hintertux in Austria will be added to the 2025/26 Epic Pass lineup. Epic Pass and Epic Adaptive Pass holders will receive a total of five consecutive days of access across these resorts.
Located in Austria's Zillertal valley, Mayrhofen and Hintertux encompass six distinct areas, offering over 120 miles of groomed slopes and year-round winter sports on the Hintertux Glacier. The resorts cater to all skill levels, from beginner runs to the steep Harakiri slope.
This expansion further diversifies the Epic Pass's European portfolio, providing access to world-class slopes and unique alpine experiences, including the Hintertux Glacier's high-alpine terrain and Mayrhofen's PenkenPark. The addition aims to enhance the value for pass holders and attract new guests.
