Vail Resorts announced on August 20, 2025, target winter opening dates for the 2025/26 ski and ride season across its North American Rocky Mountains, West, and European resorts. Keystone is set to open as early as October, with Breckenridge and Whistler Blackcomb extending operations into May. Significant infrastructure upgrades include the debut of a new Sunrise Gondola at Park City Mountain for 2025/26, replacing a limited-access lift and enhancing beginner terrain. Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis in Switzerland is adding two new six-seater chairlifts to increase uphill capacity and reduce wait times. New technology in the My Epic app will enhance the Ski and Ride School experience at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, and Keystone, offering digital check-in, real-time updates, and skills tracking.
