Mullen Automotive Inc. signed a Partnership and Supply Agreement with Enpower Greentech Inc. (EGI), a global leader in advanced lithium-ion battery manufacturing and technology. This agreement focuses on building and delivering EGI's SWIFT series Semi Solid-State Batteries (SSB).
The partnership outlines the domestic manufacturing of SWIFT SSB modules and battery packs at Mullen’s Battery Center in Fullerton, California. Full production is expected to ramp up in early 2026, with Mullen continuing to build its engineering staff for this initiative.
EGI’s SWIFT Series SSB Cells are advanced silicon-anode-based semi solid-state batteries, offering twice the energy density, ultra-fast charging capability, and extended cycle life. This collaboration is expected to reduce supply chain vulnerabilities and address increased costs due to tariffs, positioning Mullen to deliver domestically produced battery solutions.
