Murphy Oil Corporation announced the election of Robert B. Tudor, III, to its Board of Directors, effective October 2, 2024. Mr. Tudor is the founder and CEO of Artemis Energy Partners, an investing and advisory platform focused on global energy markets.
His professional background includes serving as a retired Founder and CEO of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., and previously as a Partner at Goldman Sachs where he led its worldwide energy practice. Mr. Tudor also chairs the Houston Energy Transition Initiative.
This appointment is expected to bring significant experience and insight into energy markets and strategic development to Murphy Oil's governance. Claiborne Deming, Chairman of the Board, expressed pleasure in adding Mr. Tudor's depth of professional experience to the Board.
