Ingevity Corporation announced on March 12, 2025, the appointment of Michael N. Shukov as Senior Vice President and President of Advanced Polymer Technologies, effective immediately. Mr. Shukov will also join Ingevity's executive leadership team.
Mr. Shukov brings over 25 years of experience in the specialty chemicals industry, including more than eight years at PPG Industries, where he most recently served as managing director of PPG Industrial Coatings, EMEA. His career includes leadership roles at Solvay Group, Dow Chemical Company, and Rohm and Haas.
His proven track record in transforming business profitability, integrating acquisitions, and driving strategic penetration of higher growth and higher margin markets is expected to enhance the Advanced Polymer Technologies segment's operational excellence and accelerate profitable growth across its product lines and geographies.
