NIP Group Inc. announced on October 15, 2024, that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Wuhan Young Will Ltd., a talent management company specializing in short-form video content creation and influencer development. Young Will, founded in 2019, boasts over 115 million fans across major Chinese social media platforms and manages more than 100 signed influencers on platforms such as Douyin, Kuaishou, and RED.
Under the terms of the agreement, NIP Group will issue new shares valued at RMB23.2 million, approximately US$3.3 million, in exchange for a 61% equity stake in ZSZQ Limited, Young Will's Cayman parent company. The acquisition is structured to include an additional 13% of ZSZQ Limited shares each year from 2025 to 2027, contingent on certain conditions.
This strategic integration is expected to diversify NIP Group's revenue streams and strengthen its market position by expanding talent management capabilities into the B2B sector. It also provides a built-in platform to amplify marketing efforts for NIP Group's burgeoning game publishing business, with the transaction expected to close in 2027.
