Nouveau Monde Graphite (NMG) held its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders on June 17, 2025, where all seven director nominees were appointed. Daniel Buron, previously Lead Independent Director, was appointed as the new Chair of NMG, succeeding Arne H Frandsen, who did not stand for re-election.

The appointed directors include Daniel Buron, Eric Desaulniers, Paola Farnesi, Édith Jacques, Stéphane Leblanc, Nathalie Pilon, and Chantal Sorel. Shareholders also approved the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as auditors, ratified the company’s omnibus plan, and approved stock options granted to directors, officers, and employees.

The meeting also saw the departure of long-time directors Arne H Frandsen, James Scarlett, and Andrew Willis, who did not seek re-election. The new board composition, with the addition of experienced executives like Paola Farnesi and Édith Jacques, is intended to guide NMG through its next phase of development towards a Final Investment Decision.
