Newmark Group announced on October 17, 2024, that it served as strategic advisor to Blue Owl Capital, Primary Digital Infrastructure, and Crusoe Energy Systems LLC in a $3.4 billion joint venture. This venture will fund a purpose-built data center at the Lancium Clean Campus in Abilene, Texas. The new data center will be a 206-megawatt, 998,000-square-foot, two-building development, 100% long-term leased to a Fortune 100 hyperscale tenant. Occupancy is expected to begin in the first half of 2025, with the design optimized for direct-to-chip liquid cooling to support cutting-edge artificial intelligence workloads.
