Newmark Group announced on September 30, 2024, that its Economic Incentives Advisory team secured tax incentives for bet365, a global online sports betting company, to open its new U.S. corporate headquarters in Denver. bet365 has taken 120,000 square feet at One Platte, or 1701 Platte Street.
The UK-based company expects to bring nearly 1,000 jobs to the Denver community, with over 300 employees anticipated within the first year. The Colorado Economic Development Commission approved up to $14,055,942 in a performance-based Job Growth Incentive Tax Credit over an eight-year period.
This project underscores Denver's appeal as a hub for innovation and technology, and Newmark's full-service capabilities in identifying strategic locations and securing incentives. The new headquarters will offer positions across customer service, trading, software development, and technology.
